Quality Improvement Officer

One Permanent Position (35 hours)

Your primary role will be to provide administrative support to frontline staff. You will deal with all enquires, provide advice and guidance and signpost as appropriate. Lead on the quality assurance of data and contribute to service improvement by providing information, data, analysis, and reporting within the service. Operate flexibly as part of the business support staff group so that core business support functions are delivered. You will contribute to the development of efficient and effective business support arrangements that add value to the service provided to service users. You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting processes and carry out financial accounting tasks relating to the use of delegated budgets, including the processing and transactions of cash payments, allowances, and monitoring of invoices on in house database as directed.

 

A confident knowledge of IT packages is essential as well as the ability to manage your own time. You will have experience of minute taking and be able to minute meetings.

 

You must also appreciate the need for discretion and the importance of confidentiality, be able to work flexibly as part of a team and on your own initiative.

 

This is a hybrid position, split between remote working and the council offices, currently based at Woolwich.

If you are short listed you will be invited to take a test where your note taking and excel skills will be tested separately. Those successful will then be invited to attend an interview.

 

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a DBS Disclosure will be undertaken on the successful person before appointment is confirmed.
