We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed social worker to join our experienced team
The Disabled Children and Young People Service is an exciting service supporting children and young people with SEND up to the age of 25. In this team you will engage in a range of statutory work across Child in Need, Child Protection, Children in our Care and Care Act with disabled children and their families. We are developing exciting new pathways of supporting young people with SEND up to the age of 25 as they move into adulthood and the post holder will have the opportunity to contribute to this service development. This is a great opportunity for a social worker to expand their knowledge base across both children’s and adult’s practice in this developing service. As an integrated service, team members will also work closely with our Children’s Occupational Therapy Team and our Short Break Team.
We are looking for a social worker with experience in statutory social care settings either in Children’s or Adult’s services and a passion for inclusion and supporting disabled children, young people and their families to achieve their outcomes.
