Environmental Health Officer/Lead Environmental Health Officer (dependent on experience)

We are very excited with our ambitious programme and approach for improving the private rented sector in RBG. Come and join this friendly, professional and highly focused team to improve the health and wellbeing of our residents in PRS through the timely intervention.
Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting the team and individual to focus on outcomes and value based approach including targeted / intelligence lead enforcement of . against rogue landlord. This includes improving energy efficiency in the private rented sector (PRS), and enhancing fire safety standards.
Appointments will be made based on candidates' knowledge, skills, and qualifications, with placement on a grade between PO2 and PO3.
You will be supported day-to-day by your Seniors and a Team Manager and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills through both internal and external training, this includes CPD opportunities and payment of a relevant professional fee.
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience of working with private sector housing, and similar regulatory compliance-based processes.
