Residential Investigation Enforcement Officer
Join our dynamic Private Housing and Environmental Health Standards Team in a permanent role where your expertise will directly contribute to improving residents' lives. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a proactive approach to enforcement and investigation, eager to take on challenging cases and take action under housing legislation.
As a Residential Investigation Enforcement Officer, you will play a key role in identifying and addressing rogue landlords and businesses, ensuring compliance with residential licensing regulations and fire safety standards. Working closely with Council departments and partner agencies, you will conduct in-depth investigations, gather and analyse intelligence, and take enforcement actions where necessary.

Successful candidates will be appointed on a Grade PO1 based on their knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
You will be supported day-to-day by your Seniors and a Team Manager and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills through both internal and external training, this includes CPD opportunities and payment of a relevant professional fee.
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience of working with private sector housing, and similar regulatory compliance-based processes.
