An exciting position has arisen in the Housing Inclusion Service, for a Performance and Development Team Leader, with the line management responsibility for 6 members of staff. The role includes overseeing the high quality and sensitive responses to enquiries and complaints to the service from customers, Councillors, Members of Parliament, and departments from across the Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, monitoring and reviewing service performance targets and in implementing plans and initiatives to improve the outcomes for current and future service users. You will have a good understanding of housing and homelessness legislation and be able to build strong and constructive relationships with partners and key stakeholders.

You will be flexible in approach, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have proven IT, organisational and negotiation skills. Essentially you will need to manage your own workload proficiently and to ensure the efficient management of the work of the team to consistently meet deadlines.
