Deputy Head of Resourcing

Our Human Resources & Organisational Development Division is hiring

We’re entering an exciting new chapter. Following a recent restructure, we’re focused on redefining the way we grow and thrive - together.

We are looking to recruit a Deputy Head of Resourcing.  You will either be a graduate member of the CIPD or have equivalent, relevant recruitment experience.

About the role

Under your guidance and direction, the Resourcing Team will deliver an effective, efficient recruitment service to hiring departments, to fulfil Council staffing requirements, ensuring safe, suitable and timely appointments   

You will provide specialist knowledge to the organisation applying a detailed understanding of the local and national challenges affecting workforce planning to deliver creative resourcing solutions which meet the Councils needs now and in the future.   

You will undertake a lead role in the development of approaches to talent management which will futureproof the organisation, ensuring its ability to attract and retain high quality talent into our organisation, and to develop and promote staff from within.  

About you

We want you to be creative, lead and contribute to resourcing initiatives that attract top talent to Greenwich.

You will have an in depth understanding of local and national labour markets and the Public Sector environment, and the context in which they operate.

Using your extensive knowledge of recruitment related legislation, initiatives and best practice and commitment to EDI in recruitment, you will be able to apply this knowledge across a diverse range of occupational groups.
