Disability Confident

 The Royal Borough of Greenwich is pleased to confirm that the DWP have awarded the Royal Borough of Greenwich Disability Confident Employer status. Disability Confident Employers are recognised as going the extra mile to make sure disabled people get a fair chance and have agreed to take support existing employees as well as ensuring a inclusive and accessible recruitment process to provide new opportunities to disabled people.

Mayor's Good Work Standard

The Royal Borough of Greenwich has been recognised as a great employer following accreditation by the Mayor of London’s newly launched Good Work Standard.

By signing up to the Mayor’s Good Work Standard, employers signal that they are committed to healthy, fair and inclusive workplaces. We know this is an important step in attracting and retaining a diverse, talented and successful workforce and we hope to assist other organisations in realising these benefits.

Armed Forces Covenant 

The Royal Borough of Greenwich employs staff who are members of the Reserve Forces and recognise the valuable contribution that Reservists make to the UK Armed Forces, their communities and the civilian workplace. Royal Greenwich acknowledges the training undertaken by Reservists that enables them to develop their skills and abilities that are of benefit to both the individual and the employer.

Stonewall is the largest Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Trans (LGBT) rights charity in Europe. 

We’re delighted to confirm the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s membership of Stonewall’s Diversity Champions Programme.  The Diversity Champions programme is the leading employers' programme for ensuring all Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Trans (LGBT) staff are accepted without exception in the workplace.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is very proud to have received a London Healthy Workplace Award (LHWA), an award led by the London Mayor’s Office and supported by Public Health England.
