The role
The new role of Volunteer Coordinator is a pivotal addition to the MumsAid team, introduced at an exciting time of growth and increasing demand for our specialist maternal mental health services. As our reach expands, so too does our reliance on a dedicated and skilled volunteer base from counsellors and peer supporters to fundraising and administrative helpers. The Volunteer Coordinator will ensure our volunteers are effectively recruited, trained, and supported, enabling us to safely extend our capacity and offer life-changing support to even more mothers and their families.
This role will also help to unlock new opportunities for organisational development. Through nurturing a vibrant, inclusive volunteer community, we want to expand our reach, improving access to care for underserved groups, and building stronger links within the local community. Volunteers play a vital role not just in delivery, but in advocacy and fundraising amplifying our impact and helping to secure MumsAid’s sustainability. The role will be instrumental in harnessing this potential, embedding volunteering as a core pillar of our growth and sustainability strategy.
